Dollars for Doers Program:
As a member of the Foss family of companies, we are pleased to offer employees a Foss company matching grant to support your volunteerism efforts.
For each 15 hours volunteered with a nonprofit or school, Foss will provide a $250 cash grant to that organization.
Employees may request two company Dollars for Doers matching grants each year for a total of $500.
Q&A:
Question: Does the volunteering need to take place at the same organization or can I select the recipient organization after volunteering anywhere for 15 hours?
Answer: We encourage to volunteer as desired. The company match is intended to recognize a larger commitment of 15 hours of volunteerism to a specific organization.
Question: Does the 2nd match have to be to a different organization?
Answer: No, you may qualify for a 2nd match to the same organization when 30 hours of volunteerism is reached.
Question: How do I submit the request for the match?
Answer: After you have volunteered 15 hours, submit a request for the $250 match by clicking "submit request" above.
Question: How do I track my volunteerism hours?
Answer: When you register with GIVINGtrax, you will see a link to record volunteerism hours. If you choose to access the link from a mobile device, you are able to select the desired nonprofit and "check-in" to start recording of volunteerism. Simply "check-out" when you are done and the hours are automatically calculated. If you do not have a mobile device, you may access GIVINGtrax to enter the volunteerism hours from any browser.
