As a not-for-profit organization, MultiCare — which includes Tacoma General and Allenmore Hospitals — counts on the generous support of people like you who want to make a difference in the community.

Imagine battling cancer. Or recovering from a serious accident. Or needing emergency surgery. We understand how traumatic these events can be for patients and their families. That's why we're committed to delivering the highest quality of care.

Mission

MultiCare Health Foundation was established in 1995 to make sure our neighbors receive the care they deserve. This means doctors, nurses and clinicians who are sensitive to each patient's needs. We're also proud to offer world-class programs, advanced treatments, and innovative technology. The programs we serve include:NeurosciencesNeonatal Intensive Care UnitMultiCare Surgical Care Center MultiCare Regional Heart & Vascular CenterMultiCare Regional Cancer Center, a partner of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance,  and the Tacoma General Emergency Department. Our care even extends to our Helping Hands program, which provides vouchers for food, gas and prescriptions to low-income families.

Community Impact

Wherever you look in the MultiCare Health System, you'll see the incredible generosity of our community already at work. For instance, donations to the Foundation have helped train hospice volunteers, who provide much-needed support to caregivers looking after terminally ill family members. Other gifts have covered yoga classes for cancer patients, as well as housing expenses for out-of-town families with newborns in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Donations have also enabled our nurses to receive continuing education and training, so they can provide the best care possible. Imagine what your gift could mean to the lives of your neighbors and friends — perhaps even you and your family.
