ACCA began in the 1950's as a statewide network of concerned citizens, who established resource and referral services to help people access medical and adaptive equipment services. Throughout the years, ACCA has maintained its focus on services to children, adults and families who experience many types of disabilities.
Today, ACCA programs provide services focusing on supporting family members with disabilties in everyday home routines, school and community activities in accordance with our mission.
ACCA programs serve communities in the Interior, North Slope and South Central regions of Alaska. We are a 501 (c)3 Non-Profit Corporation and receive funding from private and public funding sources.
